Bühne 16, Sylt, Germany 🇩🇪 Officially Germany’s first n@turist beach. Since 1920. Older than basically everything 🤭🤣 We got off the ferry from Rømø, straight into List, and this was our very first stop on the island. Very interesting beach… Swimsuits and n@ked people on the same stretch and then a proper nüde only zone a short walk further 🙂🤟🏼 Save this one for the bucket list, totally recommend this beach and the island! 4 things you really need to do in Sylt, Germany 🇩🇪 Germany’s northernmost so called n@ked island. Dunes, cycling paths and fish sandwiches on every corner. Here’s what one day looks like. 🚲 Rent bikes and cover as much coastline as your legs allow.
🌋 Climb the Uwe Düne in Kampen. 52 metres of wooden stairs to a 360 degree view over the dunes.
🏖️ Find a nüde beach. Bühne 16 or List, both official, both amazing. Full verdict already dropped in our “Nüde Beach or Not” series on Youtube 😉
🍤 End with a Fischbrötchen, or 2 or three. One island, endless dunes, amazing nüde beaches and delicious fishbrötchen. Which stop are you doing first? 🚲

Cuxhaven, North Germany 🇩🇪 Never even heard of this place before this trip, honest truth 🙈 Turns out, this place has a real, signposted FKK beach right on the main sand. It was the first, proper sandy nüde beach we’ve found on this trip. No mud, no grass hike, just nice water and nice sand 🏖️ The beach is tucked at the far end, in plain view from the pier, bars and restaurants. And nobody cares, nobody blinks. Planning a trip to the North Sea coast? Save this one 📍

Our summer up north so far: Germany, Denmark and Sweden 🇩🇪🇩🇰🇸🇪 It’s our first time in these countries, and we feel it’s time for a little update. Because if we love it, you’re probably going to love it too 😉 In Germany we kept hearing Moin moin and we say it all over the north (that’s hello up there) and we immediately felt super welcome. We’ve visited the famous nüde island of Sylt, had some delicious fischbrötchen and were blown away by the wide nüde beaches. In Denmark the wide beaches became even wider and we sometimes had to walk for 5 minutes before we reached the water. We had never seen the little badehytters on the beach and the relaxed attitude towards nüdity was amazing to see and to feel (we wrote a blog about it, link is in our bio if you’re curious) And then, Sweden. We’re proper bastu (sauna) people now, we even had our first beers inside the bastu (yes, it’s a thing 😃). We’ve tried the famous korv med räksallad, had the best salmon either of us had ever had, visited a proper public nüde bathhouse in Malmö, skinny dipped in lakes and visited a nüde beach that could have been the Caribbean. Next stop: the Baltics. We stripped down at FKK Campingplatz Hooksiel, and it might be the last time anyone can… This is one of the last proper n@turist campsites left on Germany’s North Sea coast, sitting in Waterland right next to a nüde beach. For years the local club has kept this little corner clothes free, but most of the site is gone textile now 🥴 From 2027, the whole place will become textile. Weird right?! It’s just next to a nüde beach, it doesn’t make any sense to us. But it is what it is… 🤯 The weather was not really on our side, but we stripped down anyway, because you don’t get many chances to stand in a piece of German FKK history before it turns into an ‘ordinary’ campsite. So if you want to strip down for the last time at Hooksiel? Go now before it’s too late 🩵!
